Event Overview
The Montebello Heritage 5K/10K takes place on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The event features two distances: a 5K and a 10K run. It is part of the three-day Heritage Festival in Montebello.
Course and Location
The run course follows historic Whittier Boulevard. Both the 5K and 10K start at Montebello City Park, located at 1301 W. Whittier Blvd.
Participant Information
All participants receive a commemorative shirt and medal. The first 700 registered runners will receive these items on the event day, while later registrants can pick them up within two weeks.
Festival Activities
A Beer Garden in the park opens at 9 a.m. There will be a DJ, a tamale vendor, and a coffee vendor on site.
Awards
Prize money is available for top finishers. The first-place overall winner receives $300. Additional performance bonuses are offered for the first male and female runners to finish under specific time benchmarks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
