Montane Ullswater Way Trail Ultra, 20 & 10
The event takes place on Sunday 23rd May 2027 around Ullswater in Cumbria. Event headquarters and registration are at Jenkins Field, Glenridding, CA11 0US. The course follows the Ullswater Way route with three distance options.
- Trail Ultra: 33.5 miles (Ullswater Way with Lowther and Dalemain loops)
- Trail 20: 21.5 miles complete lap of Ullswater without extra loops
- Trail 10: 10 miles from Pooley Bridge to Glenridding
Trail 10 runners register at Jenkins Field and then travel to the Pooley Bridge start; an event coach is available for Trail 10 at an extra cost and must be booked in advance, or runners may use their own transport. Runners must carry items listed on the compulsory kit list. Minimum ages are 16 for the Trail 20 and Trail 10, and 18 for the Trail Ultra.
The Ultra route includes designated feed stations and checkpoint locations such as the Pooley Bridge feed station at 18.5 miles and Aira Force at 30.5 miles; runners must meet published cut-off requirements for these points and for the finish. Dogs are not permitted to take part in the races but may attend the start and finish as supporters.
Entry fees are discounted for the first 100 places and then rise to general entry rates. Entries close when full or on the Friday prior to the event at 12 noon. Entry includes a bespoke finisher medal, electronic timing, feed stations and event photographs available to download. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
