Monster Mash Dash 5K & 1 Mile

Organized by =PR= Races, the Monster Mash Dash is a running event held in McLean, Virginia, during the Halloween weekend. The event takes place at Franklin Sherman Elementary School and serves as a way to support the local school community. The race atmosphere encourages participants to dress in costumes for their runs.

Participants can choose from several event categories:

The physical races are held at Franklin Sherman Elementary School. All pre-registered participants receive a themed race shirt, a medal, a race bib, post-race snacks, and a digital finisher certificate. Professional photos are taken during the event and are provided to participants at no additional cost.

The 5K event is electronically timed using the ChronoTrack B disposable tag system. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additionally, the event recognizes the top three male and female finishers in five-year age group increments, ranging from 14 and under to 80 and over.
