Registration for each event costs $25. The price increases to $30 after April 15, 2026. Family registration pricing is available for the 5K Run/Walk until that date. The course runs on the streets throughout Monroe. Course monitors are present at all turns, and a water stop is available halfway through.

The event benefits the MCDS Scholarship Fund. It is part of the Black Bag Race Series, and finish line management is provided by Classic Race Services. Awards are given for overall, masters, grandmasters, and senior grandmasters categories, as well as for standard 5-year age groups starting from 10 and under through 80 and over.
