Mohegan Striders 4-Miler
The Mohegan Striders 4-Miler is a four mile road race in Groton, Connecticut on August 16, 2026. The course runs near Sneekers Cafe and the EB Parking Lot, M-Lot/Annex, and a course map is provided by the organizers.
The event distance is 4 Miles. Online registration opened January 28, 2026. The registration fee is $20. The event pays the registration platform fee, so the listed fee is the final price. The first 200 registered entrants will receive a t shirt; sizes are distributed on a first come, first served basis on race day. Online registration availability is described by the organizer.
Awards include $100 for first overall male and female. Gift cards are awarded to the top three finishers, excluding the overall winners, in the following male and female age divisions: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 plus. Top three Nonbinary finishers are also recognized. Awards are based on chip time. Sneekers Cafe will be open during and after awards and accepts a one dollar off coupon from registration.
Runners should park at the EB Parking Lot, M-Lot/Annex, about 0.1 miles west of Sneekers Cafe at 568 Poquonnock Rd. Do not park at Sneekers Cafe. Dogs are not permitted to run in the race. Members of Mohegan Striders and WTAC who are properly registered with their clubs receive a discount if they sign up prior to race day.
