Saybrook Point 5K Road Race
The Saybrook Point 5K is a community road race held in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, at Fort Saybrook Monument Park on August 22, 2026. The event is organized by the Old Saybrook - Westbrook Exchange Club together with the Greater Old Saybrook Chamber to raise funds for the Exchange Club A.C.E. Award and a memorial scholarship for college-bound seniors from Old Saybrook and Westbrook High Schools.
The race distance is 5K. Registration is online; it opens December 31, 2025 and closes August 21, 2026. The standard entry fee is $30, and the price increases to $33 for day-of registration. Packets can be picked up on Friday, August 21 at Marathon Sports in Old Saybrook or on the morning of the race.
For 2026 the event will include prizes for the best costume. Organizers plan to award up to three costume prizes depending on participation. The event program notes advance bib pick up the day before and check-in on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
