17th Annual Saybrook Point 5k Road Race
The 17th Annual Saybrook Point 5k Road Race is a running event taking place in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. The race is organized through a partnership between the Old Saybrook-Westbrook Exchange Club and the Greater Old Saybrook Chamber. Proceeds from the event support the Exchange Club's A.C.E. (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) Award and the C. Wilfred Hunter Memorial Scholarship, which are granted to graduating seniors from Old Saybrook and Westbrook High Schools.
The event features a single distance for participants:

Registration for the event is conducted exclusively online. Participants can collect their race packets on the Friday before the event at Marathon Sports in Old Saybrook or at the race location on the morning of the competition. The race starts and finishes at Fort Saybrook Monument Park. The entry fee is set at a fixed rate with a small increase for those who register on the day of the event.
