Modesto Memorial Classic

The Modesto Memorial Classic is a community running event held at East La Loma Park in Modesto, California. The program offers both in-person and virtual participation across short-distance events and a children's fun run for ages 10 and under. Finishers' medals are provided to all participants, and a pancake breakfast is included with paid registration.

Event entries include separate categories for youth and adults, and combined entry options for those who choose to register for both the 1 mile and the 5K. Awards are given by age group: the 1 mile awards go to 1st through 3rd place in 10-year age groups, and the 5K awards go to 1st through 3rd place in 5-year age groups. There is a brief awards ceremony after the races and awards are available for pick-up following that ceremony.

Early packet pick-up is available the Friday before the event at the ShadowChase office, 1325 11th St. Walk-up registration is available both at early packet pick-up and on race day. Some proceeds from the event go in part to the Delta Vet Center.
