Moccasin Ultra Fest
Moccasin Ultra Fest is a 36 hours timed trail run held December 31 to January 1 at the Wolf River Refuge Trailhead in Memphis, TN. The event uses a fast, flat 4-mile loop on the Wolf River Trails and records each completed loop as the official mileage when the 36 hours expire.
Participants may leave the course and return during the event; runners may rest at their personal setup or offsite and rejoin while the event continues. Support is allowed but crews are the responsibility of the participant. Trekking poles are permitted. Pacers are not allowed. Headphones are permitted with an expectation of awareness around other runners. No stashing of supplies on course and no littering are allowed. Receiving IV fluids, oxygen, or sustaining a serious injury ends the participant’s race.
One fully manned aid station will operate at the start/finish area as a help-yourself station with food, hot items, coffee, heaters, chairs, and blankets. Runners must provide any special dietary or hydration items they require.
Awards and swag are distance based and include cash prizes for top male and female mileage leaders. Professional photography will be taken and photos will be available free to runners. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable; deferral credits apply on a sliding scale and are not available after December 24, 2026.
