Blessings in a Bookbag MLK 5K/10K

Blessings in a Bookbag presents the 15th Annual MLK 5K/10K, scheduled for January 18, 2027 in Savannah, Georgia. The event raises funds and awareness about child hunger in Savannah.

The event takes place at the Howe 2 Run Store, Shoppes of Savannah, 11 Gateway Blvd S Suite 54, Savannah, GA 31419. Endurance Race Service will provide on-site timing. Every participant registered in time is scheduled to receive a finisher's medal.

Packet pick-up for registered participants is at the Howe 2 Run Store on:

Saturday, January 17: 10:00am-6:00pm
Sunday, January 18: 12:00pm-5:00pm

Packets include a runner bib, a Blessings in a Bookbag MLK 5K/10K T-shirt, and additional event information. Registration information in the event listing shows opening on March 24, 2026 and closing on January 18, 2027, with a registration fee of $30. Participants may walk, run, skate, and bring dogs.

Registrations made within the final two weeks before the event do not guarantee a T-shirt or medal, as quantities for both are limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
