MK24 Midsummer RunFest
MK24 Midsummer RunFest is a 24 hour running event held in June near Caldecotte Lake, Milton Keynes. Participants complete as many laps of an approximately 6.55 mile circuit as they wish during the 24 hour period. Entrants can take part as individuals or in teams of two to six people. Juniors aged 12 to 18 may take part under UKA rules; juniors under 15 are restricted to half laps of roughly 5 km and can earn the same participation awards by completing two half laps.
The event site offers individual shower and toilet cubicles, large marquees for resting, tee-pee tents available to hire that sleep up to six, and campsite pitches including limited space for small campervans. Snacks, water and hot drinks are provided free; hot and cold food is also available from on-site vendors. There are activities and field games in the event village for participants between laps.
Entry fees vary by club membership and England Athletics affiliation; junior entry is listed at £15. Camp site pricing includes tee-pee hire and weekend or single-day tent and campervan options. All entries and competition are conducted under UKA rules and the event is licensed by relevant local bodies. Results, awards for lap counts and fastest laps, and participant finish tokens such as a medal, towel and event clothing are part of the event provision.
