MK24 Midsummer RunFest

MK24 Midsummer RunFest is a 24 hour running event held in June near Caldecotte Lake at the Action4Youth Caldecotte Xperience. Participants may enter as individuals or as members of teams of 2 to 6 and are invited to complete as many laps of the approximately 6.55 mile course as they wish during the 24 hour period.

The event offers on site facilities including individual shower and toilet cubicles, large marquees, tee-pee tents available to hire, and an event village with games and other activities between laps. Snacks, water and hot drinks are provided free of charge. Hot meals and food vans are available for purchase, and camping pitches and a limited number of small campervan spaces are offered.

Juniors aged 12 to 18 may take part under UKA rules. Juniors under 15 are not permitted to run the full course but may complete half laps of roughly 5 km; young participants must be supervised while on site.

All entrants receive event items and distance recognition including a bespoke medal, an embroidered hand towel, an MK24 tee shirt or vest, and collectible pin badges for specific distance milestones. Various prizes are awarded for highest lap counts and fastest laps in individual and team categories.
