Mistletoe Madness 5k & 10k
Mistletoe Madness is a Christmas Eve running event at Bon Air Gardens in Arlington, Virginia, offering 5 km and 10 km distances. The courses run along Four Mile Run and the Custis Trail; the route is paved with some rolling hills and both distances are out-and-back courses rather than multiple laps.

The event is chip timed. Runners receive a finisher medal and a technical DriFit event shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed before December 11; sizes for later registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees are listed with early prices through December 15 and higher fees afterward; prices increase by an additional five dollars on race morning. A virtual race option is available for those who cannot attend in person.
Water stations are provided—one on the 5 km course and three on the 10 km course at approximate mile markers 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65—Gatorade will be available at some stations. Portable restrooms are located in the park. Live results are posted online and a QR code at the event provides immediate access; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race.
The event awards the top three men and women overall and age group awards in standard brackets; overall top three finishers are not eligible for age group prizes. The event benefits Nadia's Initiative. Banditing is not allowed and violators may be removed from the course.
