2026 EOD Fairfax Turkey Trot 5k & 10k
This event on November 29 takes place at Lake Fairfax in Reston, VA. It offers both 5 km and 10 km distances.

Points from the race count toward the Year‑Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series, and also toward the Fall Series. The event includes a virtual run option for participants who cannot attend in person. Runners receive a finisher's medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and chip timing.
The course is described as hilly with some technical trail sections. About one third of the route is an out and back section at the beginning and end. The 10 km consists of two laps of the 5 km course. Water stations are placed along the courses at approximate mile markers; six stations on the 10 km and three on the 5 km, with Gatorade available at some stations. Portable restrooms are located around the park.
Results are posted live on Athlinks and final results with series points are published the Monday after the race. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to 1st and 2nd in standard age groups. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered, with t shirt sizes not guaranteed for late registrants.
