Location and Course
The event takes place at the Toole Park Dirt Track in Missoula, Montana. The course is a standard 400m dirt track.
Event Details
The Alcoholic Beer Mile follows official beer mile rules. Competitors drink four beers, each at least 5% alcohol by volume and 355mL (12 oz) in size, and run four laps. A penalty lap is required for vomiting.
For those who do not drink beer, the Beverage of Choice Mile allows any drink, such as non-alcoholic beer, kombucha, cream soda, or seltzer. Participants must bring their own four drinks.
The Koby Pederson Memorial Cigarette 400 is a 400m race where participants finish a cigarette while running a single lap.
Official timing and scoring is provided via the FinishLynx system. Participation in the events is free, but participants must bring their own beverages (BYOB). After the races, an optional group trip to a local bar is mentioned. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
