ARK Foundation Run for Rare : Missoula, MT
The ARK Foundation Run for Rare is a fundraising event on July 19, 2026 at Fort Missoula. The event starts at the Bitterroot Shelter near the pickle ball fields and includes a timed 5K and a 1 mile fun run.
The event features pre- and post-race activities with music, refreshments, and prizes. Food trucks and a raffle are listed as part of the event, and local businesses and healthcare providers will be on site to answer questions and connect families to resources. Children under 18 participate for free. Registered participants age 18 and older receive an event shirt; shirt sizes are limited and prioritized for registrations before June 15.
T-shirt and bib pick up is scheduled for Friday, July 17 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Bitterroot Shelter. The ARK Foundation is a local 501c3; proceeds support its financial assistance, advocacy, and awareness efforts for families of children with rare, complex, or chronic medical conditions. Participants are encouraged, if they wish, to add zebra-themed elements to outfits to symbolize rare disease awareness.
