Missoula Marathon
The Missoula Marathon Weekend of Events is produced by Run Wild Missoula and presented by Young Automotive Group. The 2026 weekend is scheduled for June 26 to 28 and features multiple races and related activities in Missoula, Montana. The organizing group describes the event as a way to share the area’s scenery and Missoula’s local character with visiting runners.
The weekend program includes the Missoula Marathon, a Missoula Half Marathon, the Tony Banovich 5K, a 5K Workplace Wellness Challenge, a Missoula Kids Marathon, a Beer Run, the Big 3 Challenge, an expo packet pickup, and other weekend events. The site notes that the marathon entry is sold out while spots remain in the half marathon, 5K and kids races. The Tony Banovich 5K registration includes a casual race shirt, finishers medal and chip timing.
Course information states that the Missoula Marathon course is flat, fast, USATF certified and a Boston qualifier. The Missoula Half Marathon is also described as flat, fast and USATF certified. The event has received recognition from running publications and lists by Runner’s World and The BibRave 100 in past years.
