MISSION Adventure Race : Borden, IN
The MISSION Adventure Race takes place May 2 to May 3, 2026 in Borden, Indiana. The event is based at 1217 Deam Lake Rd, Borden 47106, and offers two formats that run on the same weekend.
The main format is an 18 hour adventure race for teams of three, teams of two, and solo competitors. Participants navigate using map and compass and move by foot, bicycle, and canoe. Teams score points by visiting checkpoints; the team that reaches the most points is declared the winner. Organizers note that many teams reach the cutoff time before visiting every checkpoint.
The MISSION Lite format is a 4 hour event offered for teams of three, teams of two, and solo competitors. Compared with the 18 hour format, the Lite version has a shorter duration, a shorter gear list, simpler navigation, and does not require map plotting.
