Minot Symphony Orchestra Beat Beethoven 5K
The event is a community 5K at Oak Park in Minot, ND (1300 4th Ave NW) held on June 28, 2026. The challenge is to complete the 5K before Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony ends, a duration of about 32 minutes; participants who finish before the final note receive a voucher for a free concert ticket to the Minot Symphony Orchestra 26-27 season with some exclusions, and all other finishers receive a $5 discount voucher toward a ticket.
Registration opens on May 7 and closes on June 15. The registration fee is $35.00. An official Bella+Canvas cotton/poly T-shirt is included with registration through June 14. Day-of registration and check-in take place at the old band shell at Oak Park. Parking is available in Oak Park and across the street in the Premiere Chiropractic lot; organizers ask that adjacent business lots be respected.
The event is scheduled alongside additional evening programming at Oak Park. A family-friendly concert will take place earlier in the evening to provide entertainment before the run. After the race there will be food trucks, a beer garden, and live music as part of Arts in the City sponsored by the Minot Area Council of the Arts.
