North Dakota State Fair Run the Route 5K
The North Dakota State Fair Run the Route 5K is an annual running event held in Minot, North Dakota. The race takes place on the morning of the state fair parade, following the established parade route. The course begins at Our Redeemers Church at the South Hill Sports Complex and concludes on Burdick Expressway at the State Fair Gate E Entrance.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation between the start and finish lines, though parking is available at the starting location. All runners who complete the course receive an admission ticket to the North Dakota State Fair. Recognition is provided for top finishers, with concert tickets and trophies awarded to the top three male and female runners. Additionally, awards are given to the top male and female participants across several age categories, ranging from under 12 to 70 and over.
Registration is available online and on the morning of the event. A portion of the proceeds from the race is donated to local children's running groups and programs. Those who register by July 4th are guaranteed an event t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
