Mindy Creek Trail Races - St. Croix Falls, WI (August 29, 2026)
The event is held at the Polk County Information Center, 710 S Highway 35, St. Croix Falls, WI. All distances start and finish at the Information Center. Courses use a variety of local trails with technical sections, rolling hills, bridges, and stretches on gravel and paved surfaces. Parking is in the Information Center lot. Registration opens November 28, 2025, and closes August 25, 2026. Online entries are limited to 150 runners. There are no refunds; entries may not be transferred, deferred, or applied to another event.
Race details
- Marathon: run the half-marathon course twice; over 18 miles of single track.
- Half-Marathon: lollipop-shaped course; over 9 miles of single track.
- 10K: out-and-back - 2 miles single track, 2 miles paved, 1 mile gravel, 1 mile grass.
Aid stations and cutoffs: The marathon has full aid at miles 5, 9, 13, 18, and 22, water-only at miles 8 and 21; finish cutoff 7 hours, and runners must start the second loop by 3 hours 15 minutes. The half marathon has full aid at miles 5 and 9 and water-only at mile 8; finish cutoff 5 hours. The 10K has a water-only aid at the turnaround and a 2-hour finish cutoff.
Additional details: Packet pickup is race morning only. Bathrooms are available at the Information Center and an outdoor restroom. External music is not allowed during the race; headphones are permitted. All finishers receive a full-color 8.5 x 11 print of the current year logo.
