Mindy Creek Trail Races - St. Croix Falls, WI
The Mindy Creek Trail Races are scheduled for August 29, 2026, with all distances starting and finishing at the Polk County Information Center in St. Croix Falls. Courses use a variety of local trails and include technical sections, rolling hills, bridges, gravel and paved surfaces.
Registration opens November 28, 2025, and closes August 25, 2026. Online registration is limited to 150 runners; once that limit is reached only race day entries will be accepted. There are no refunds and entries may not be transferred, deferred, or applied to another event.
Race facilities and services include parking in the Information Center lot, restrooms at the start/finish area, and race morning packet pickup. All finishers receive a full color 8.5 x 11 print of the current year logo.
Specific race details:
- Marathon: repeats half marathon course; over 18 miles of single track.
- Half marathon: lollipop course; over 9 miles of single track.
- 10K: out and back with mixed surfaces, two miles single track.
Aid stations and cutoffs are detailed per distance. Marathon aid includes full stations and water only stations at listed mile marks; the marathon has time limits and a required second loop start threshold.
