Mindy Creek Trail Races
The Mindy Creek Trail Races take place August 29, 2026 in St. Croix Falls, WI, organized by True North Adventures. All distances start and finish at the Polk County Information Center, 710 S Highway 35, with parking available in the Information Center lot.

The courses use a variety of trails in St. Croix Falls and include technical sections, rolling hills, bridges, and stretches on gravel and paved surfaces. The marathon consists of the half-marathon loop run twice and includes over 18 miles of single track. The half-marathon follows a lollipop-shaped course with over 9 miles of single track. The 10K is an out-and-back with about 2 miles single track, 2 miles paved trail, 1 mile gravel, and 1 mile grass.
Aid stations and race support are described by distance: marathon aid stations include full aid at miles 5, 9, 13, 18 and 22 and water-only at miles 8 and 21; half-marathon aid includes full aid at miles 5 and 9 and water-only at mile 8; the 10K has a water-only aid at the turnaround. Cutoff times are stated per distance. Drop bags are allowed at the start/finish area only. Packet pickup is race morning only. Bathrooms are available at the Information Center and an outdoor restroom building.
Registration opens November 28, 2025 and closes August 25, 2026. Online field limit is 150 runners; entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. All finishers receive a full color 8.5 x 11 print of the current year logo. Music must be via headphones only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
