Mindy Creek Trail Races
Mindy Creek Trail Races are scheduled for August 29, 2026 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. All distances start and finish at the Polk County Information Center, 710 S Highway 35. Parking is in the Information Center lot.
The event includes these distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10K
The courses use a variety of trails in St. Croix Falls with a mix of technical single track, rolling hills, bridges, gravel and paved surfaces. The marathon follows the half marathon course twice and includes over 18 miles of single track. The half marathon is a lollipop shaped course with over 9 miles of single track. The 10K is an out-and-back with 2 miles single track, 2 miles paved trail, 1 mile gravel and 1 mile on grass.
Aid stations and cutoffs are published for each distance. Marathon aid includes full stations at miles 5, 9, 13, 18 and 22 and water only at miles 8 and 21; marathon finish cutoff is 7 hours and runners must start the second loop by 3 hours 15 minutes. Half marathon aid includes full aid at miles 5 and 9 and water at mile 8; finish cutoff is 5 hours. The 10K has a water only aid at the turnaround and a 2 hour cutoff.
Registration opens November 28, 2025 and closes August 25, 2026 with a total online field limit of 150 runners. There are no refunds, entries cannot be transferred or deferred. Packet pickup is race morning only. Aid station fare and restroom locations are listed for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
