Mind Over Matter 5K Run/Walk : May 2, 2027
Mind Over Matter 5K Run/Walk is an in-person fundraising event held at GEM Fitness, 4580 Sunrise Hwy., Oakdale, NY 11769, on May 2, 2027. Proceeds benefit Alzheimer’s programs and research at the nonprofit Fit For Life.
Registration includes timed and untimed options, a processing fee, and optional donations. Base registration options listed are a 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile (untimed) entry. Personalized bibs are provided for registrants who register three weeks before race day.

Event amenities include post-race awards and prizes, refreshments, sponsor giveaways, T-shirts or towels while supplies last, live text and email results, and free finish line photos. Race awards for the 5K include top overall male and female and top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, including youth and masters divisions up to 80+.
Race operations note that bib pickup is handled by event staff; last-minute registrants may receive bib numbers by text. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
