Purpose and impact
The event raises funds and awareness for families affected by blood cancers and disorders and supports bone marrow donor registration. Reported outcomes from prior years include more than 2,000 participants, over $76,000 raised, and 56 new potential bone marrow donors added to the registry.
Logistics and amenities
General entry price is listed as $35, with the price increasing after April 17, 2026. Bib pick up is scheduled at Catherine Rooney's on race day. Post-race amenities include a post-race party at Catherine Rooney's, food and drinks, race swag and a T-shirt (shirts limited to the first 600 registered). Event features include a free mimosa for participants age 21 and over, live entertainment, face painting, characters, a photobooth, raffles, and a bounce house. The individual who raises the most funds on an individual fundraiser receives two tickets to a Flyers game.
Awards and timing
Awards are given for overall male/female and masters male/female, and the top three in each age group. Age groups are: 9 and under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
