Event overview
The 5th Annual Mills Mountain Lion Run is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Virgil Mills Elementary School in Palmetto, Florida (7200 69th St E, 34221). Proceeds will benefit the Virgil Mills Elementary physical education department. The event welcomes runners, walkers, and strollers. The 5K is chip-timed. Organizers offer a 1-Mile Family Fun Run and a Virtual 5K option.
Race options
- 5K Run/Walk - chip-timed; includes bib, shirt, and medal; award eligible.
- 1-Mile Family Fun Run - untimed; includes bib and shirt; not award eligible.
- Virtual 5K - run at any time; includes bib, shirt, and medal; not award eligible; participants may upload self-timed results starting the Friday before the race.
