Milledge Mile
The 9th Annual Milledge Mile presented by Elwood and Goetz is a one mile road race along Milledge Avenue in Athens, Georgia. The event is based at Clarke Central High School, 350 South Milledge Ave, Athens, GA 30605.
The event includes three formats: an in-person Milledge Mile, a Virtual Milledge Mile, and a Couch to 1 Mile entry. Registration for the in-person and virtual races opens April 28, 2026 and closes May 15, 2026; the fee for those entries is $30. Registration for Couch to 1 Mile opens May 21, 2026 and closes July 24, 2026; the fee is $50.
The in-person race is organized in waves that begin every 15 minutes. Virtual participants run one mile at a location of their choice and must submit their time to Runsignup by 12 noon on July 25. Virtual entrants are not eligible for race day awards or for performance points in the Athens Road Runners Grand Prix.
