Milledge Mile
The Milledge Mile is the ninth annual one-mile road race held on Milledge Avenue in Athens, GA. The event is presented by Athens Road Runners and is staged at Clarke Central High School, 350 South Milledge Ave, Athens, GA 30605, United States. The race supports Sirius Athletics and the Clarke Central High School Track & Field program.
The event program includes an in-person Milledge Mile, a Virtual Milledge Mile, and a Couch to 1 Mile entry. The in-person race will use wave starts every 15 minutes. The in-person and virtual events share registration dates from April 28, 2026 through May 15, 2026 with a listed fee of $30. The virtual option permits participants to run a one-mile course anywhere and submit a time to Runsignup by 12:00 noon on July 25; virtual entrants are not eligible for race day awards or performance points in the Athens Road Runners Grand Prix. The Couch to 1 Mile entry has a separate registration window from May 21, 2026 through July 24, 2026 and a listed fee of $50.
