Millstone Trail Races : Fort Mill, SC
The Millstone Trail Races take place at Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The 2027 program keeps the traditional 50K and adds a new 25K option and a 10K; a kids run is planned. The 50K will be run as two 15.5-mile loops on the greenway.
The course is almost entirely single-track and technical, with some gravel road and dirt trail. There will be few creek crossings, possible additional crossings depending on weather, and sections that are likely to be muddy. The organizer describes the course as tough and technical. Bridges that were previously damaged have been replaced and the updated course map is published on Caltopo. Aid stations are planned at roughly the 4- and 8-mile marks (fluid only) and at the start/finish; participants are asked to carry at least one water bottle.
All 50K and 25K participants will receive race swag; 10K runners may purchase swag at a discounted price. 50K and 25K will have overall male and female awards, and 50K finishers will receive a custom medal. There are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals for any reason. Registration closes on February 3, 2027; early packet pickup details will be announced.
