Mill Stone 50K
The Mill Stone 50K is a trail ultramarathon held at the ASC Greenway in Fort Mill, SC. Distances offered:
- 50K three 10.5-mile loops
- 10M one loop of the 50K course
The course runs mostly on single-track technical trails with some gravel road and dirt trail. It is located in a private green space in the suburban Charlotte area and is not a groomed or paved urban greenway. The route includes at least two creek crossings and will most likely be muddy depending on weather.
A landmark called the Mill Stone sits in the heart of the Greenway; the stone originated at a nearby historic mill and is linked to the town name. A preview run of the Mill Stone loop is scheduled for January 24, 2026, starting at the Gateway Canteen at Anne Springs Close Greenway. Greenway membership or the daily use fee will be waived for preview attendees as it is included in race entry.
Course maps will be provided via Caltopo for in‑phone navigation. Bridges that were previously damaged have been replaced and the aid station location has been adjusted; aid will be available approximately at the 4 and 8 mile marks and at the start/finish, and the course still passes restrooms and water. Runners are asked to carry at least one water bottle.
Entry fees listed are all-in prices; current fees are $95 for the 50K and $60 for the 10M. Registration guarantees swag size through mid-January 2026; packet pickup details will be announced. There are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and 50K finishers receive a custom medal made by a local artist. The event is planned to be held rain or shine, with contingency plans for severe weather and possible makeup dates if the facility closes.
