YMCA Milkshake Mile in Harrisburg, PA
The YMCA Milkshake Mile is scheduled for August 22, 2026 at Harrisburg Area Community College, 1 HACC Drive, Harrisburg, PA. The event is hosted by Friendship YMCA and follows a back to school theme that includes backpack giveaways.
The program includes timed and untimed distance options, a youth category, and a virtual option. Timed Mile Run entries are organized by age group heats. The Fun 1-Mile Walk/Run and the Half Pint 1/2-Mile use a rolling start and slower walkers are encouraged to begin earlier within the start window. Virtual participants receive event packets about one week after the event and may complete their mile on a different day.

- 1/2 mile Half Pint distance for younger participants
- Virtual mile remote participation with packet delivery after the event
Additional on-site features include milkshakes provided after races, Milkshake Relays following the runs, food trucks, local vendors, DJ entertainment, games, and YMCA information booths.
