10th Annual Gobble Wobble 5K Run/Walk - Felton, DE
The Gobble Wobble is a 5K run and walk held on November 22, 2026, at Lake Forest North Elementary School, 319 East Main Street, Felton, Delaware. Parking and the start and finish area are located behind the school. The course is described as flat and fast through the town of Felton. The event is presented by the Lake Forest Community Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.
Timing is chip based using the MYLAPS BibTag system and results are posted online during and after the event. A free kids race for ages 8 and under is offered and does not require registration. Competitive walking divisions require participants to walk the entire 5K with separate student and adult rates.
Amenities and post-race features include participant tee shirts guaranteed for those who register by October 31, food and drink, Beat the Turkey giveaways, and a Costume Contest raffle. The team with the most finishers wins a Largest Team Prize Basket; team members must preregister. Awards use gun time for four top finisher categories and chip time for other age groups; additional top three awards are given across 14 age groups and for walkers.
