Miles To Go 5K
The Miles To Go 5K takes place on September 19, 2026 at Bill Frederick Park, 3401 S Hiawassee Rd, Orlando, FL 32835. The event includes an in-person run/walk and a virtual option, each covering 3.1 miles.
The in-person course is a double-loop on paved surfaces with a wide layout intended to accommodate both faster runners and more casual walkers. Finisher medals are awarded to all participants. The virtual option includes shipping of a T-shirt and medal.
A post race celebration follows the course with food trucks, local vendors, games, a silent auction, a raffle, a DJ, contests, refreshments, and kids activities. Leashed dogs are permitted and a dog refresh station is provided. The event is described as family friendly.
Registration details differ by format. The in-person registration opens February 3, 2026 and closes July 26, 2026 with a listed fee of $40. The virtual registration opens February 3, 2026 and closes September 12, 2026 with a listed fee of $50. Teams of ten or more registered by August 20 receive a unique team logo on their shirts.
Miles To Go Charities was founded in 2018 by a nine year old who responded to local needs; the organization has distributed over 13,000 bags to people experiencing homelessness in Central Florida.
