Miles To Go 5K
The Miles To Go 5K Run/Walk is a fundraising event on 09/19/2026 at Bill Frederick at Turkey Lake Park, 3401 S Hiawassee Rd, Orlando, FL 32835. The event supports Miles To Go Charities, which was founded in 2018 and has distributed over 15,000 care bags to people in need in Central Florida and beyond. One hundred percent of ticket proceeds directly benefit Miles To Go efforts.
The event offers two options: an in-person 3.1 miles double-loop course on paved surface and a virtual 3.1 miles option. The on-site course has a wide layout that facilitates passing. Dogs on leash are welcome and a dog refresh station will be available. Finisher medals are awarded to all participants; the virtual entry includes shipping of a T-shirt and medal.
Additional features on site include food trucks, vendors, a DJ, games, a silent auction, raffle and contests, and activities for children. Team registrations with ten or more participants registered by August 20 will receive a unique team logo on event shirts. Registration windows and fees vary by entry type, and awards are given for top finishers by age and gender categories, including Under 12, 13-17, 18+, and Masters 60+, with placements for first through third in male and female divisions.
