2027 Orlando 5K
The 10th annual Head for the Cure 5K in Orlando is set for February 27, 2027 at the Della Phillips Pavilion at The Grove, 2002 Packing District Wy, Orlando, FL 32804. The event combines a community 5K run/walk with related activities and fundraising to support brain tumor research and local programs.
Funds raised through the event will benefit the Orlando Health Cancer Institute, Dragon Master Initiative, Path to Hope, and other national brain cancer programs, education, and initiatives. Fundraising proceeds support clinical research and related programs for patients, families, caregivers, and supporters.
On race day there is day of packet pickup, a kids fun run 100 meter dash, a brain tumor survivor photo, and community recognitions. The event includes several recognitions to honor members of the community: Legacy of Love to honor a caregiver or supporter, Healthcare Hero to recognize healthcare workers, Keeping the Faith to honor survivors, and a Memorial recognition to celebrate a life and legacy.
