The Miles that Matter 1Mile/5K/10K takes place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 3460 Starkey Market / 3460 Starkey Blvd, New Port Richey, FL 34655. The event is presented as Starkey Market's first annual Miles that Matter run and comprises the following distances:

Registration closes January 17, 2026. Entry fees listed are $55 for the 10K, $45 for the 5K, and $25 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. Children 9 and under may participate free in the 1 Mile Fun Run when accompanied by a registered adult.
Additional information
Prizes are offered for the top three overall finishers in the 5K and 10K. Registered participants receive a race-day T-shirt and a medal; registrations after December 28 will not receive the shirt and medal. After the event, participants 21 and older are offered a free beer or a pop and a charcuterie spread provided by Starkey Market. All proceeds raised go to Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.
