Miles Over the Moon
Miles Over the Moon is an evening road race held in Salem, Massachusetts. The event features a single measured road distance of 4 miles on a very flat, fast course.
The race includes on-site and advance packet pickup. Advance packet pickup takes place at New England Running Company in Beverly on the two days before the race. Race day packet pickup and post-race refreshments are at Memorial Park in Salem. Parking is available at Salem Willows. The race will start and finish at Bentley Academy Charter School.
Entry fee information lists a pre-registration price of $40. The event offers a race shirt to the first 300 registered runners. Awards include a $100 cash reward for overall male, female, and nonbinary finishers, and age-group awards for top finishers in standard age categories.
Organizers note that the course is not closed to traffic and recommend that runners wear reflective clothing for safety. Dogs are permitted on course but must be leashed at all times.
