Miles of Hope Fun Run/5K, Laurel Park, Gainesville
Miles of Hope is a first annual fun run and 5K on a 3.1 mile course that runs along the shoreline of Lake Lanier. The event takes place at Laurel Park in Gainesville, Georgia and is organized as a nonprofit fundraiser.
The event is presented as family friendly and will feature local vendors and finisher medals awarded by age group. Race packets will be available for pick-up the morning of the race. Registration opens on January 8, 2026 and closes on June 6, 2026; the registration fee is $30. Registrations completed before May 16 guarantee a T-shirt.
All proceeds benefit Hope for Burkina Faso Ministries. The organization provides continued education, fresh water, food, medical care, and supports the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people in Burkina Faso, Africa. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
