Miles of Hope Fun Run / 5K
The Miles of Hope Fun Run / 5K is a first annual community running event on June 6, 2026, at Laurel Park in Gainesville, Georgia. The course runs along the shoreline of Lake Lanier and covers a distance of 3.1 Miles.
The event is family friendly and includes local vendors and finisher medals awarded by age group. Race packets will be available for pick-up the morning of the race starting at 6:30 am. The published registration fee is $30.00 and a T‑shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed before May 16.
All proceeds benefit Hope for Burkina Faso Ministries, a nonprofit organization that supports continued education, access to fresh water, food, medical care, and efforts to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people in Burkina Faso, Africa.
