Miles for Smiles 5K - McHenry
Miles for Smiles is a fundraising 5K event held in McHenry, Illinois to support NHS scholarships and raise money for K9s 4 U Dog Rescue. The event includes two registration categories with different fees: a general 5K registration and a reduced rate for MCHS students.
Registration is online only and includes a shirt and race packet while supplies last. Registration opens 12/01/2026 and closes 05/01/2027. The registration fee is listed as $35 for the general 5K and $15 for the MCHS student category. The price will increase to $40 on race day.
Packet pickup is scheduled at 1012 N Green Street, McHenry on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
