Miles for Smiles 5k
The first annual Miles for Smiles 5k is a fundraising running event on September 26, 2026, held in Lake Park in Milwaukee. The course runs through Lake Park and both starts and finishes at the Summer Stage. Parking is available near the Start Line at the Summer Stage or by Lake Park Bistro.
Race packets are available at the Start Line and include a race bib, a race day T shirt, and treats from sponsors. Registration remains open until race day; registrations submitted after August 12 will not include a T shirt. The registration fee is $30.00.
Proceeds from the event benefit patients by sponsoring cleft lip and palate care at Children's Wisconsin Hospital and Marquette University School of Dentistry. The event supports fundraising, volunteer activities, and community outreach aimed at sponsoring surgeries and care for families, increasing awareness of cleft conditions, and connecting students with opportunities to serve those affected in the local Milwaukee community.
