Miles For Mutts 5K Newburgh
Miles For Mutts is a 5K run and walk that starts and finishes at the Warrick Humane Society new shelter in Newburgh, Indiana, and follows a 3.1 mile route on the Warrick Trails. The event includes both timed and untimed entries; untimed participants start with the field but do not receive a race bib or timed results.
Registration fees vary by date. Early registration through September 1 is $25 and guarantees a soft ring spun t-shirt in the registrant's size. Registration from September 1 through September 30 is $30. From October 1 through the day of the event the fee is $35. A Miles For Mutts pet bandana is available for $10.
Awards are presented to the top five male finishers and the top five female finishers, and there is an award for the first place dog. The Warrick Humane Society accepts additional donations; a $30 donation includes a long sleeved Miles For Mutts t-shirt with possible color and size limits, and a $50 donation includes a double walled vacuum insulated tumbler.
