Event Details
The Miles for Music event takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Frankfort, Kentucky. The event is organized by the Frankfort Striders and benefits the Frankfort Independent School Cross Country Teams and the Second Street School PTSA.
Two endurance events are offered:
- Miles for Music 12 Hour Endurance Event
- Miles for Music 6 Hour Endurance Event
Both events use a format where participants run a one-mile loop. To be considered a finisher in the 12-hour event, a participant must complete at least one mile loop every hour, totaling a minimum of 12 miles. Runners may complete more miles if they wish. In the 6-hour event, participants can choose their own start time. They must complete six consecutive hours before 7 PM, running at least one mile loop per hour for a minimum of 6 miles.
