The Miles for Mimosas 5K - Ozan takes place on April 26, 2026 at Ozan Winery & Vineyard, 173 Co Rd 301, Calera, AL 35040. The event includes the following options:
- 5K
- 5K - No Shirt
- Virtual 5K
- Sip & Stroll
Chip timing will be used for the start and finish. The course runs in and around the vineyards and includes grass and cross-country style terrain. Water stations will be available approximately every 1.5 miles. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a complimentary mimosa; juice and water will be provided for participants under 21.
Registration, awards and policies
Regular and late registration windows are published; virtual registration closes before the event and late entries are accepted up to race day. Participants registered by the organizer’s guarantee deadline will receive race swag in their size; afterward items are available while supplies last. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, top three Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Senior Masters (60+), and top three in each five-year age group from 10 & under through 80+. All registrations are final; there are no refunds, deferments, or transfers. The event is held rain or shine, with cancellation for extreme weather and no refunds in that case. Volunteer recruits who meet published requirements are eligible for a $50 gift card after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
