Miles for Midwest 5K
The Miles for Midwest 5K is an annual running event held in Peachtree City, Georgia. Now in its sixth year, the race supports the Midwest Food Bank Georgia Division, with all proceeds directed toward the mission of alleviating hunger and malnutrition. The event is an official Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event.
Participants can choose between two event formats:
- 5K Run
- Virtual 5K
The in-person 5K course starts at the Midwest Food Bank facility and follows a route through local cart paths. Registration includes a tiered pricing structure based on the date of entry, with discounts available for participants under the age of 18. Registration is also available on the morning of the event at the venue. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by March 31, 2026.
Due to liability requirements, strollers, wheelchairs, bicycles, and dogs are not permitted on the course. In addition to the run, attendees have the opportunity to tour the Midwest Food Bank facility to learn about local community service efforts.
