Miles for Mental Health 5K in Xenia
Hope Spot organizes a community running event on May 30, 2026 at Shawnee Park, 591 Park Drive, Xenia, OH 45385. The event supports mental health awareness and recovery and is part of a broader Miles for Mental Health initiative during May.
The program includes two race options:
- 5K run/walk
- Kids Fun Run (shorter family-friendly course)
Registration opens April 10, 2026 and closes April 30, 2026. Fees are $25 for the 5K and $15 for the Kids Fun Run. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by the early registration deadline; limited quantities may be available on race day. Packet pick up and check-in are part of the event. Parking will be available on-site and in surrounding areas of Shawnee Park.
Awards will be given to top overall male and female finishers. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.
The event will be held rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe. Updates will be communicated through email and social media. Proceeds support Hope Spot programs that provide peer support, recovery resources, and community-based care for people and families affected by mental health and substance use challenges.
