Oakwood's That Day in May Fun Run : event overview
The event in 2026 is the 51st annual Oakwood That Day in May Fun Run held at Oakwood High School in Oakwood, Ohio. The program includes in-person and virtual options with multiple race distances and a separate family fun run.
Registration and race features include:
- 1k Family Fun Run, free; optional shirt available for $12.
- 5k Run priced at $35.
- 10k Run priced at $35.
- Virtual 5k priced at $35.
- Virtual 10k priced at $35.
Participants who register by May 1 will receive a technical shirt with entry for the 5k, 10k and virtual options. There are no processing fees for online entry this year. Virtual participants are invited to submit results and race day photos for compilation and posting on the Speedy Feet website; in-person results and photos will also be posted online. Race day check-in will be conducted outside Mack Hummon Stadium behind Oakwood High School. The 10k course uses two loops of the 5k course. Awards for the 5k and 10k will recognize the overall top three male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, including 12 and under through 70 and over.
