Miles for Mammos 5K Run/Walk
Miles for Mammos is a fundraising 5K event held at the Jacksonville Commons in Jacksonville, NC (100 Recreation Lane). Proceeds benefit Julie's Pink Warrior Project, which provides free screening mammograms to individuals in Onslow County who are underinsured or uninsured.
The course is described as flat and stroller friendly. A water station is located around the halfway point. Finishers receive a medal and post-race snacks are provided. A warmup is scheduled before the run. Race packet pickup information will be announced closer to the event.
Entry options and fees are listed for in-person and virtual participants. Early bird pricing for the 5K and the virtual 5K is $25 until January 1, 2027; prices increase to $35 until October 1, 2027, and to $40 thereafter through October 17, 2027. Kids age 5 and under can register for free without a shirt or medal; a shirt and medal are available for an additional $10. Virtual run entries include a shirt and medal. OMH employees and their families are eligible for a discounted rate with a discount code.
