Miles at the Moose
Miles at the Moose is a running event held at Moose Ridge Golf Course in South Lyon, Michigan, on October 10, 2026. The event benefits the Rogel Cancer Center Breast Cancer Program at U of M Medicine.
- 1K Kids Run (typically ages 2–10; parents may run without registering)
- 5K Run/Walk (top three finishers in the 5K receive awards)
Registration opens November 19, 2025 and closes September 1, 2026. Fee information provided for both races includes early and general registration tiers: 1K early $25, general $30; 5K early $45, general $50. Registration includes a commemorative hat and a finisher medal; hats and medals are not guaranteed for some late registrations and late registrants may receive items by mail.
The course runs over fairways and cart paths and features rolling hills, lush greenery, and expansive golf course views. Parking is available in front of the clubhouse and along the driving range. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Strollers are allowed but should start near the back to reduce congestion at the starting area.
Organizers do not issue refunds after registration because event items are ordered immediately. If a registrant cannot attend, organizers may arrange pickup or mailing of ordered items. Post-race refreshments include donuts and cider. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
