Michigan Monster Dash
The Michigan Monster Dash takes place at Kensington Metropark in Milford, Michigan. This Halloween-themed event features a course that is mostly flat, providing runners and walkers with views of the wooded surroundings and the shores of Kent Lake. All in-person distances start and finish at the designated area of Maple Beach.
Participants have the option to enter various distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10K
- 5K
- 1K Kids Run/Walk
The event encourages the use of full Halloween costumes during the race. For those unable to attend the physical location, virtual versions of all race distances are available. Virtual participants may choose their own route, such as a local park, neighborhood, or treadmill.
The event is held in partnership with Make-A-Wish Michigan. Registration for the different distances opens in February, with separate deadlines for the in-person and virtual categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
