Event overview
The Mile 0 Flint Hills Trail Race takes place in Osawatomie, Kansas, at the Mile 0 Trailhead (1400 South St). The event offers the following distances:
- 50K
- 20 Miler
- 10 Miler
- Fun Run (any distance under 10 miles; participants self-report distance and time)
All distances are one out-and-back on the Flint Hills Trail. The course surface is flat, crushed gravel.
Course services and race policies
Manned aid stations are fully stocked with water, Hammer Nutrition products, Heed electrolyte drinks, snack foods, sandwiches, chips, candy, and gels. Unmanned stations provide water only. Manned aid stations are placed about every 5.0 miles and water stations are accessible about every 2.5 miles.
Entries for the 50K, 20 Miler, and 10 Miler include unisex technical blend race shirts, pre- and post-race food, complimentary race photos, sponsor swag, and finisher hardware. Fun Run entries include aid stations, pre- and post-race food, complimentary race photos, and a lapel pin.
Packet pickup is scheduled at the Mile 0 Trailhead on the Friday before the event and also on race day. There is a no refund, no transfer policy; runners may defer an entry to the same race the following year if the Race Director is notified at least 10 days before the event.
