Milan Melon Festival Road Race
The 52nd annual Milan Melon Festival Road Race takes place in Milan, Ohio on September 7, 2026. The event is located at 140 S Main St and includes multiple running options for participants of different interests.

- 1 mile fun run
The 5K is chip timed and held on a USATF certified course. The 1 mile event is presented as a fun run open to all ages. Race day packet pick up is at Edison Elementary from 7:30 am to 8:45 am. A collectible race shirt is available for the first 300 entrants and 1 mile participants receive a shirt on a first sign up basis.
Division structure is provided for men and women with age group brackets beginning at 11 and under and continuing through older adult categories. The event also includes weight based divisions: a women’s Cantaloupe Division for competitors 160 pounds and over and a men’s Watermelon Division for competitors 210 pounds and over. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to top finishers in age group divisions.
