The Event
Mikey's Run is a charity run held at Burnaby Lake Regional Park. Participants can choose from three distances, all starting and finishing on the Burnaby Lake rugby fields.
The Courses
The routes use the trails around Burnaby Lake, featuring a mix of wide, groomed trails and natural pathways.
- Kids' 800m Fun Run: A short loop.
- 5K Walk: An out-and-back course along the north side of the trail.
- 10K Run: A full loop around the lake, with one water station.
Practical Information
The event takes place on Sunday, May 31, 2026. Package pickup is available on the preceding days at a partner footwear store. A mandatory pre-race briefing is held 15 minutes before each start. A medical attendant is present on the 10K course. All entries include a branded technical t-shirt, a custom race medal, a race bib, chip timing, and post-run refreshments. Proceeds are donated to Mikey's Legacy Foundation, supporting men's mental health initiatives. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
