12th Annual Midtown Race For MAC 5K Run/Walk
The Midtown Race for MAC returns to Piedmont Park in Atlanta for its 12th year. This event is organized by the Midtown Assistance Center to support the prevention of homelessness and hunger for working families. Since its beginning in 2014, the race has functioned as a community gathering to provide emergency assistance to low-income residents in the Atlanta area.
The event features a single distance:
- 5 km run and walk
The course is located entirely within the grounds of Piedmont Park. The start and finish lines are situated near Park Tavern and Midtown High School. Participation is open to runners and walkers of all types, and the event specifically permits the use of strollers. Participants may also bring dogs, provided they remain on a leash at all times.
Registered participants receive a short-sleeved cotton T-shirt, with availability guaranteed for those who pre-register. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners, masters male and female winners, and the top finishers in various age categories. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to Park Tavern.
