Midsummer Family Fun Run : Banff Castle
The Midsummer Family Fun Run is a free, in-person event held in the grounds of Banff Castle, Castle Street, Banff AB45 1DL. The site overlooks Banff Bay and the event is organised by Deveron Harriers together with the Banff Castle Committee. The atmosphere is relaxed and the activity is not timed or competitive.
Routes are designed for different school ages, so participants follow courses suited to younger children through to older school-age runners. On arrival, participants check in and are directed to their designated start points.
Across the castle grounds there are optional family activities that carry separate charges. Available attractions include inflatable laser tag and mini golf. Spectators and participants share the same open grounds, and the event is presented as a community occasion focused on informal participation and outdoor time together.
