The Midsummer 8K 2025 is a fast, flat road race held in Kelowna, BC, along the scenic shore of Lake Okanagan. The certified 8-kilometer out-and-back course follows mostly dedicated bike paths and pedestrian routes, avoiding major intersections, making it ideal for runners to test their limits. Starting and finishing at Boyce-Gyro Beach, the route passes through Pandosy Waterfront Park and City Park.
This event serves as the BC Athletics Road Running Championship and a World Athletics ranking race. Participants enjoy chip timing, age group awards, cash prizes, and post-race refreshments.
