Midsommar Sun Loop Ultra
Midsommar Sun Loop Ultra is a loop-format running event held in Rogersville, Missouri. The course is a repeating 5-mile loop that starts and ends at The Maypole, which serves as the central hub and main aid station.
The event offers multiple distances that are completed by repeating the same loop. The Maypole provides cold fluids, electrolyte drinks, ice, solid fuel, and hot food in the evening. Ice bandanas and cooling stations are available to help manage core temperature. Drop bag access is available every lap due to the loop format.
An indoor area on site includes a single restroom and an air-conditioned space intended for rest or medical needs; this indoor area is not intended for crew setup but is open without restrictions if needed. Aid and cooling resources are positioned so runners return to the hub frequently during the race.
All participants receive an official Midsommar performance tech shirt and a Midsommar performance bucket hat. Finishers of the 5-mile and 15-mile distances receive a custom medal, while ultra-distance finishers receive a custom buckle. Ultra finishers also receive a Midsommar Sun Loop mesh towel.
