Midsommar Sun Loop Ultra
Midsommar Sun Loop Ultra is held on July 31, 2027 in Rogersville, Missouri at 8732 E Farm Rd 174. The event is built around a repeating 5-mile loop that starts and ends at The Maypole, the central hub and main aid station.
Distances offered include:
- 5 Miles (1 loop)
- 15 Miles (3 loops)
- 50K (31 miles, 6 loops)
- 50 Miles (10 loops)
- 100 Miles (20 loops)
- Night 5 Miles (1 loop)
- Night 50K (6 loops)
The Maypole serves as the main HQ and aid station and is stocked with cold fluids, electrolyte drinks, ice, solid fuels, and hot food available in the evening. Ice bandanas and cooling stations are provided. Because the course is a 5-mile loop, runners have access to drop bags, personal gear, nutrition, and crew every lap. An indoor restroom and an air-conditioned area are available for rest or medical attention; the indoor area is not available for crew setup.
Registration opens October 19, 2026 and closes January 1, 2027. Entry fees listed by event range from $40.00 for the 5 Mile races to $150.00 for the 100 Mile distance.
All participants receive a performance tech shirt and a performance bucket hat. Finishers receive a custom medal for 5 Mile and 15 Mile distances, a custom buckle for ultra distances, and ultra finishers also receive a Midsommar Sun Loop mesh towel.
