Event overview
The 2026 Midlands Spartan Weekend takes place at Belvoir Castle, Grantham, Lincolnshire from July 10 to July 12, 2026. The event is a Trifecta Weekend, allowing entrants to complete the Sprint, Super and Beast races in the same weekend. The weekend includes a festival area with music and beer gardens.

The course features classic Spartan obstacles and off-road terrain. Example obstacles and specifications include the Atlas Carry with a 100 lb / 45 kg stone for men and 75 lb / 35 kg for women, Sandbag Carry weights of 60 lb / 27 kg for men and 40 lb / 18 kg for women, a Rope Climb reaching about 16 ft / 4.8 m, and a Spear Throw target at about 25 ft / 7.6 m. Other obstacles listed include Inverted Wall, Bucket Carry, Multi-Rig, Hercules Hoist, Slip Wall, Fire Jump and various walls.
Awards and extras
